Spartan Writing Camp 2014 - Open for Registration

March 8, 2014

Spartan Writing Camp

Since 1994, Spartan Writing Camp has invited elementary and middle school writers to explore their love of writing with countless opportunities to write about the thoughts, ideas and experiences that move them. Camp instructors, who are experienced teachers and Red Cedar Writing Teacher Consultants, help students nurture and develop the writer within using Michigan State's campus for inspiration. Each summer campers search for stories and capture memories on visits to the Red Cedar River, MSU's beautiful gardens, the Dairy Store, museums and other places around campus.
Each camper will receive a t-shirt, treat from the MSU Dairy Store, and additional materials that are camp specific..
Campers will take home a folder of the writing they accomplished during the camp as well as some additional ideas for writing during the remainder of the summer.
All children who have a desire to write and explore the joy of writing are welcome, regardless of their level of writing proficiency. We offer a variety of four-day camps at an outstanding value. We also offer both themed camps and general writing camps.
Take advantage of registration specials by registering before June 1, 2014.
